The base of the generator has a steel pivot tube that slides OVER any #40 1-1/2" PIPE.
The top of your pole slips on an internal ring inside the steel tube allowing the generator pivot in the wind.
A one piece cable 2 feet long (About the size of a 200 amp welding cable) goes down the center of this tube, down your pole, and connects to your cable in rout to your batteries.
Positive, Negative, and Optional Ground are inside this cable. It's very simple and nothing to wear out or break.
Blades:
Start up wind speed is 5 mpH.
Catches the lightest winds, even in turbulent areas where nearby trees are a problem.

Generator is a Direct Current Permanent Magnet made in the USA.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED WITH THIS GENERATOR:
You will need a positive lead diode rated 40 amps with a good heat sink when hooking directly to your batteries. Or you can use the very efficient Schottky Diodes. You might also need a charge control/regulator to keep your batteries from overcharging. This depends on how much wind you have, how much power you are using out of your batteries, if you want your system automated, or have the time to regulate the charge manually yourself.
All construction is of welded/bolted steel (body, base, mounting tube, tail section) Blade is fiberglass coated, epoxy high gloss finished.
One of these generators are good for small battery systems up to four deep cycle batteries, you will need several small turbines working together if you expect them to charge a large 12 volt system with heavy usage.
Every SMALL wind turbine built anywhere in the world are basically trickle chargers for small battery systems, unless you have winds in upwards of 35-40 mph most of the time.
Some small turbines can wake the dead in high winds either from the blades being too thin at the tips, or the blades flexing in a stall/furl mode, this generator is virtually silent in high winds.
If your looking to charge a large home system, you might need several of these.(Up to 5 depending on your average wind speeds)
If you have a 24 or 48 volt system, two or four of these generators hooked at each 12 volt battery tap in your battery string works great.
One more note: These generators are DC CURRENT and will not power an entire home or connect to your house lines to save on the bill, many people might expect this from a simple small wind turbine.
